Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Going into 1960, Ferrari had been building automobiles for 14 years, yet none of those cars, with few exceptions, were meant to hold more than two passengers, and the grand prix cars would only hold one. The Ferrari 512 BB/LM project was not a "Reparto Corse" supported activity, being a project entirely developed by the Servizio Assistenza Tecnica department, it represented an interesting, constrcutive and exciting project carried out with enthusiasm by the entire staff involved. The team was motivated by the typical Ferrari teamwork effort aimed to reach its objectives, and all the mechanics and technicians involved were highly qualified persons.
